  • General data:
    • We started from Tony's Place around 0830 Hr and headed via the Naresuan Bridge to the Bang Sai Arts & Craft Center. We followed an old road from Ko Rian sub-district onward along the railway to Bang Pa-In (Railway Station). From there we continued - via the Summer Palace - along the left bank of the Chao Phraya River until the Arts & Craft Center. Here we visited the freshwater aquarium filled with fish species of Thailand's canals and rivers. Thereafter we returned along the same road to the Bang Pa-In ferry crossing, where we first took lunch at the restaurant in its vicinity. After the lunch we jumped the ferry and returned via the old Portuguese settlement to Ayutthaya. We took the Wat Chao Phrom ferry to the city island and ended our trip at Ban Lotus around 1430 Hr.
    • The weather was sunny. Maximum temperature was around 27,8 C (Humidex: 30,6 C) with a NNE wind of 6 Km/Hr. Humidity was 70 % (Source: VTBD).
