  • General data:
    • We started at 0730 Hr. At the Elephant Kraal we turned into the Pho Sam Ton Fields towards the old Bang Kaeo River, at present a large irrigation canal. We followed the left bank of the canal and after an hour we took a "fuel stop" shortly before arriving at Wat Kai. We made a quick visit to the see Wat Kai's monkeys in action and admire its representation of the Buddhist Hell. We continued along the left bank and turned east at Wat Talat, making a short stop at the ruins of Wat Thai Talat, a monastery from the Late Ayutthaya era. From here we biked south towards the right bank of the Lopburi River near Maha Rat and continued biked south again toward the Elephant Kraal. 
    • The weather was sunny and hot. Maximum temperature was around 28 C (Humidex: 33 C) with a ENE wind of 5 Km/Hr. Humidity was 84 % (Source: VTBD).
