  • General data: 
    • We started off at Tony's Place at 0830 Hr for a tour around the City of Ayutthaya. We cycled North following the old Lopburi River and then turned west towards the Chao Phraya. In Ban Mai we biked in southern direction until the main highway and crossed the Chao Phraya River to the west of Ayutthaya. Here we continued south over Wat Pom Yai towards Wat  Kasatra and further to Wat Chai Watthanaram, where we took a first break. From Wat Chai Watthanaram we drove to the south of Ayutthaya over Wat Phutthai Sawan towards the Portuguese settlement area and beyond. Past Wat Kaitia we crossed again the Chao Phraya River and biked up north towards Wat Phanan Choeng and Wat Sam Plum, arriving in the Ayothya area. Here we made a coffee break at the Ayutthaya Floating Market. From the market we drove up north until the Asian Highway, crossed the Pa Sak River and turned south to Wat Tong Pu. We crossed the Lopburi River and returned over the Elephant Kraal to Ayutthaya. We arrived at M&M around 1230 Hr. 
    • The weather was partly cloudy and sunny. Maximum temperature was around 30 C (Humidex: 36 C) with a SSW wind of 5 Km/Hr. Humidity was 75 % (Source: VTBD).
