  • General data:
    • We started off at Tony's Place around 0830 Hr with as objective the chedi of Wat Sanam Chai (Monastery of the Field of Victory) at the confluence of the present Noi and Chao Phraya River. We left Ayutthaya via the Sena Bridge in direction of Ang Thong and passed by Wat Worachet. We continued in western direction until Sam Ko, where we turned south in direction of Bang Sai, following the left bank of the Noi River. We arrived at Wat Sanam Chai at the mouth of the Noi River around 1000 Hr and took a 20 minute break. We continued following the right bank of the Chao Phraya River back to Ayutthaya until the ferry at Bang Pa-In. We crossed the Chao Phraya River and continued to Ayutthaya following the left bank of the Chao Phraya River. We stopped at the Bike Cafe at Bang Pa-In to drink a mango smoothie and made also a short stop at Baan Hollanda. Near the railway station we took the ferry crossing over the Chao Phraya River and arrived on the city island, where we drove back via Uthong Rd to are starting point. We arrived at Tony's Place around 1300 Hr.
    • The weather was partly sunny, partly cloudy. Maximum temperature was around 31 C (Humidex: 37 C) with a SSW wind at 8 Km/Hr. Humidity was 66 % (Source: VTBD).
