  • General data:
    • We started off from Tony's Place after 0800 Hr with as objective the ferry at Bang Pa-In. We drove in direction of old Rear Palace (where we took a short stop to visit some excavation work), took the Sena Bridge and turned south towards Samphao Lom area. Here Sean's front wheel took a puncture. Pat biked with the inner-tube to a nearby tire repair shop and got it repaired. After refitting we continued on our track and arrived around 1030 Hr at the Bang Pa-In ferry across the Chao Phraya River, where we had to wait a while for the boat. Once at the other side we biked up north towards Ayutthaya. We stopped for a refreshing drink at Baan Hollanda, the location of the Old Dutch VOC settlement. We got suddenly caught by a rain burst and remained for a while in hiding at the cafeteria. After the rain stopped we continued to Ayutthaya, took the station ferry over the Pa Sak River and arrived at Tony's Place just after 1300 Hr.
