  • General data:
    • Trip done on 10 November 2013. We started off at the Elephant Kraal at 0900 Hr with as objective Chao Pluk in Maha Rat district of Ayutthaya. We followed the Lopburi River along the right bank until Chao Pluk over small local roads. In Chao Pluk we made a stop at Wat Na Wua, a former resting place of the Ayutthaya Kings when visiting Lopburi. We continued to Wat Kuti Thong in Phit Phian to check the situation of the Lopburi River in that place in view of next week's Lopburi River kayak descent. We took lunch at the Khlong Bun Restaurant in Chao Pluk. In the early afternoon we returned back to Ayutthaya along the left bank of the river, but now mainly on a 3-digit road until Ayutthaya. We arrived back at our starting point around 1415 Hr.
    • The weather was sunny and hot. Maximum temperature was around 32.7 C with NE wind at 9 Km/Hr. Humidity was 78-51 %.
